Congratulations to the 16 DHS students who successfully completed the Adventurous Journey component of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award on the May 11th weekend.  The participants
planned their journey, carried their own equipment, pitched tents and shelters, prepared their own meals and  hiked 25 km (bronze) or 40 km (silver) through varied terrain at
Miller Lake.  Students are reminded to complete the journey summary in their books and any other outstanding paperwork before the next meeting on Wednesday, May 23rd at
lunchtime in room 230.
